Church Sunday

There will only be one service Sunday morning due to snow. Service will be at 10:30, with no Sunday School. Enjoy the snow while you can!!!

Just a reminder that we will have combined services on Sunday, December 27th. Sunday School will begin at 9:15 and worship at 10:30.

Reminder for WMU Meeting

The WMU meeting is on Tuesday December 15th at 6:00 pm, meeting in our classroom. Ladies, you are encouraged to bring a friend! Please try to bring gently used items, kids' clothes, adults' clothes, small toys, and blankets/quilts.

Happy Birthday Jesus Party!

Just a reminder that the children's Happy Birthday Jesus party will be next Sunday morning at 10:45 in the Fellowship Hall. The youth group will be presenting the Christmas Story. The children will meet in the regular extended session classrooms at 10:30, and return to their classrooms for a snack and craft after the presentation from the youth.

Thomas and Jennifer Leary

Thomas and Jennifer joined Friendly Avenue in 2004, however, Jennifer's family spent many years at the church when she was younger. They joined the Homebuilders class as an engaged couple and have been active members ever since. They have one daughter, Emory, who will be one in Janaury.

Matt and Debra Ryan

Matt and Debra Ryan joined Friendly Avenue in the Fall of 2006. Debra is involved in WMU and Matt is a member of the choir. Matt was also ordained as a Deacon in 2009. They have two sons. Ethan will be 8 in January and Kenyon will be 6 this month!

Bill and Elizabeth Hagie

Bill and Elizabeth Hagie joined Friendly Avenue in 1999, but were living in Charlotte from 2004-2008. They have one son, Miller, who is 15 months old.

Eric and Jammie North

Eric and Jammie North joined FABC in July of 2009. They are currently in choir, and also help out in Julie and Brian's classrooms as well as children's church. Eric and Jammie have two children. In January Julie will be 5 and Brian will be 3.

WMU Meeting

The next WMU meeting is on December 15th at 6:00 pm, meeting in our classroom. Ladies, you are encouraged to bring a friend!

Joey and Jenni Broyles

Joey and Jenni Broyles joined Friendly Avenue in 2006. They have been members of the Homebuilders class since 2007. Joey and Jenni are co-teachers of the Toddlers Sunday School class. Joey is also a Deacon in the church, while Jenni is a member of the Children's Ministry Team and WMU. Joey and Jenni have two children. Leah is 2 1/2 and Alex is 1.

Jayson and Marianne West

Jayson and Marianne West are the founders of the Homebuilders Class. The original Homebuilders class had only two couples! Wow-our class has really grown in 9 years! They joined Friendly Avenue in August of 2000. Jayson was ordained as a Deacon in 2002. Jayson and Marianne have five children. Hollins is 8, Pate is 6, Willis is 3, and Mally and Emmy Hunt are 10 months.

Jerrold and Kristin Simmons

Jerrold and Kristin joined Friendly Avenue in the Fall of 2007. Jerrold is the assistant teacher to the Homebuilders Sunday School class and Kristin is the Children and Families Ministries Director. Jerrold and Kristin have two children. Eli is 21 months old and Knox is 8 months old.

Brian and Becky Muller

Brian joined our church in September of 1998 and Becky joined in July of 1999. Brian has served as a deacon to Friendly Avenue since the Fall of 2007. Becky is currently the Preschool and Families Ministries Director. Brian and Becky have two children. Caden is 3 1/2 and Addison is 15 months.

Christmas Party!

Our annual Christmas Party will be held this Thursday evening at Bravo at Friendly Shopping Center. There will be a set menu to choose from and the cost will be $25 per couple. Be sure to bring cash!
